December 12th, 2018


Call to Order: The meeting was called to order by Bob Rogge, President, at 8:06 pm. The meeting was held in Leeds Court and a quorum was not established. A sign-in sheet was circulated.


Minutes: The minutes from the last meeting, December 13th, ,2017 were emailed previously and distributed for those present. The minutes were accepted with no corrections.


Treasurerís Report: In the treasurerís absence, Bob Rogee reported a current balance of $1,003 as of December 11th, 2018. The treasurerís report is attached to these minutes and available for viewing on the HEHA website each quarter.






Welcome Committee: Anne Leason welcomed 7 new homeowners this year with a gift, card, and information about the HOA. There are 5 new rental properties and 3 pending sales. Bonnie Stonington volunteered to take over this committee in 2019.



Beautification Committee: The wall was cleaned, repaired, and painted this year for a total cost of $7,520.



Island Committee: The island is decorated for the holidays, the flag has been replaced, and one of the lights was replaced at the Grand Road entrance.


Membership: Dave Cook will obtain address labels from Seminole County, Risa will begin the newsletter, Anne will take care of the invoices, envelopes and stamps. Mailing date is January 15th, 2019.





Election: The slate of officers for 2018/2019 are as follows:

The Slate of Officers was opened to the floor with no results. Due to the absence of a quorum, no vote was taken but the officers were accepted as presented and filed.

Garage Sale: The date is set for Friday and Saturday, March 22nd and 23rd.


Santa Express: This event was held prior to the AGM and was very well attended. A total of 46 gift bags were handed out by Santa. A selection of photos will be displayed on our website. Ellen Barr reported that the Seminole County Fire Department may not be participating in this program next year. We are advised to call the County on October 1st to find out.



With no new business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:39 pm.
